Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9 offers 25 minutes of live action video on ergonomic tips and keyboard habits, 50 custom lessons (after registration), and eight games (Ragtime, Space Junk, Road Race, Checkout Time, Chameleon Picnic, Shark Attack, Penguin Crossing, and Creature Lab).<br><br>The Media Center offers easy access to various modules of the program including the video viewer, practice area, custom lesson designer, and an Internet launch connection. The latter provides a source of additional exercises, games and information via download. Customization options include settings for age group (8-11, 12-15, or 16 and over), a speed gauge (words per minute or keys per minute), a timer, and guide hands. The manual offers 12 hard copy transcription exercises and ten lessons for typing from dictation.<br><br>Whether you're a hunt-and-peck specialist or a fluid expert typist, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9 comes with a money-back guarantee if your typing speed doesn't increase by at least 25% by practicing 15 minutes a day for two weeks.
