Synopsis
Literary Nonfiction. CALIBAN AND THE WITCH is a history of the body in the transition to capitalism. Moving from the peasant revolts of the late Middle Ages to the witch-hunts and the rise of mechanical philosophy, Federici investigates the capitalist rationalization of social reproduction. She shows how the battle against the rebel body and the conflict between body and mind are essential conditions for the development of labor power and self-ownership, two central principles of modern social organization. "It is both a passionate work of memory recovered and a hammer of humanity's agenda."--Peter Linebaugh, author of The London Hanged, Caliban and the Witch is a history of the body in the transition to capitalism. Shipping was very fast. The packaging was very good. It arrived in a box that was padded with bubble wrap. The game and manual were in like new condition. The game and manual matched as described in the pictures. The starting price was a good with manual. I was sure to make my bid at price I was comfortable with. Glad to know my bid won and going to a charity.

The camera arrived in a decent amount of time. It was packed with care. It arrived looking as described with all the accessories. However, once I put the batteries in although it turned on, sadly, the shutter didn’t work. It cannot take pictures due to a broken shutter. I reached out to the seller a couple of times but no response. I filed a defective item return with eBay. I was happy to find out it was a free return. That’s great customer service right there.
