    You get what you pay for.

    If our previous microcassette machine had not kicked the bucket, after 20 years of hard use, I would not have gone looking for another one, but it did & I did! I would have gotten a digital machine, but they do not work in my home...go figure, I can't. Since my husband is retiring at the end of the year, we only needed it for a few months & went cheap....Money down the drain. I had to buy another one, as this was such a waste of money. What annoyed me the most were the beeps before the incoming message & after listening to the final message. They were endless beeps, & I felt as though I was being subject to auditory torture. I DO NOT recommend this machine
