      True epic!

      Phantasy Star is the most compelling RPG saga ever, and this is it's origin. This amazing 3-D style dungeon crawler is the first game that I can remember with a female protagonist/heroin. If you are playing this for the first time, do yourself a favor, don't use a walkthrough! Get some graph paper and a notebook. Jot down every bit of info you come across and let the game unfold before you. Then you will truly understand why this game is so beloved.

      Fantastic older RPG

      Phantasy Star is an amazing game, even today. Don't let the fact that it a Sega Master System title throw you. The only problem is finding a Master System or Power Base Converter (to play it on a Sega Genesis, if you have one). I play it on my Retron 5 using the mini power base converter. The gameplay is fun and the storyline is good. I would recommend this tille to anyone who is into "retro" gaming and has the system or systems to play it on.

      reliving the good games from years ago

      i had this game many years ago when it came out, we went into a cave for shelter and heard some sounds like we were being stabbed in our sleep only to find out we were being recharged. well the scenes we went through were exciting from town to town/village. well i am a senior and enjoying playing it again thanks
