    Magnavox DP100 DVD Player

    This brand & model seems to be a well designed/robust unit that lasts a long time in locations that aren't climate controlled full time (like an RV). The unit has lasted much longer than previous DVD players, so I'm buying more of them.

    Maybe my favorite DVD player ever! Sure glad I found a replacement on eBay!

    In my life, I've owned quite a few DVD players, and of all of them I truly believe this may be my favorite one ever. I bought one new at Wal-mart for about $39 around 2010 or so when I was doing a lot of traveling. The small size made it convenient to carry, to use at motels, and to set up with a small portable flat-screen I carried also, for use at my destinations. The small footprint, simple design, ease of use, intuitive remote, and quality playback make this a good player. Having many features even some of my bigger, more expensive players don't have (like slow-motion) makes this a GREAT player. This easily fits on top of most 'old' (non-flat-panel) TVs, easy to carry or move between locations, and at the average 'used' price here, would be great for the kids' rooms. I can't ...
