    Gun ho!!!! Great shotgun mic for the price! And even a little more than the price.

    The AT875R is a great shotgun condenser microphone. I did a lot of research before deciding on an affordable mic that I will use for a myriad of purposes including field recording, interviews and even voice over. The price was right too. This arrived quickly (ahead of expectations) and in great condition.

    A GREAT CHOICE FOR CLOSE-UP VOICER WORK! COMPARE TO THE SENNHEISER 416 SHOTGUN!

    I am a veteran voiceover artist and VO coach, so I've owned many different mics, and talked into units costing many thousands of dollars.Yet this inexpensive little mic blew me away! IT'S A GREAT MIC, REGARDLESS OF PRICE. The famous VO audio engineer George "the tech" Whittam compared this to the $1,100 Sennheiser 416 shotgun in an online video, declaring that this AT mic had better tonal balance than the 416, with less high-end harshness. He also suggested that, in some VO booth applications, the AT might well be the better choice! I agree! Optimized for human voice pick-up at a considerable distance for video, it shines when used close-up for voiceover work! BUY IT!

    Best little shotgun mic around

    I love this microphone! This is the second AT875R microphone i've owned and i bought it again because they are so good... especially for the price. I can mount it on a small camera and get great audio from people speaking as well as musicians performing. It's as if they are personally miked. The only thing you have to remember is that it is a condenser microphone without it's own power supply, so you need to provide phantom power for it to work.

    shotgun Mic

    I use this Mic on a canon XA20 mostly for outdoor type filming & I'm very happy with the sound clarity & range this little mic has. Really needs a windscreen/deadcat to reduce wind noise. I would buy another!

    Audio Technica AT875R Shotgun Mic

    Very happy with the mic. It has good reception at distances up to 35 ft. Of course the sound quality is best within 5 ft or less. While is not a Shure or Sennheiser for the money it is an excellent sounding mic. Am very happy with it.
