I am so glad I bought this watch. This watch is fantastic. Very easy to use once you read the instructions about setting time and using the slide rule. Very functional, beautiful detail, and great for those with a technical background. it is a great purchase for anyone with a love for the Blue Angels, or just wants a great looking, great functioning timepiece.

The dial is not blue
Most of the literature and photos show the dial as blue, and after all it is the Blue Angels edition, but the dial is black. Kind of a disappointment. Takes a while to figure out the basics of how to even set the time. The two small LED windows are almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass. For a chronograph it takes a little bit of time to operate the stopwatch function, and it takes two hands and close attention to the small dial on the watch to organize. Not a handy feature if you are driving or decide to time something on the fly. On the other hand it is extremely accurate

All you can want in a good watch
Wanted one for years - finally its mine. Accurate easy to read time keeping, Very quick to change modes and you don't need an instruction book to do it. Two individual alarms, that stay engaged until you choose to turn them off. A timer, great for cooking or when the garden hose is on. The slide rule calculator looks pretty and you can make believe you are a Top Gun pilot, but its too small to be practical. Above all its a rugged timepiece with heaps of easy to use features. Solar powered, radio controlled accuracy in some countries and ideal for travellers with multiple time zones.

Great looking, well built quality watch, BUT really terrible functional design
All right, I've been wearing that watch for about a month now, so time for feedback. First, the unexpected: I got really surprised by its color at first, which looks almost black except in very bright light. I got quite a bit disappointed to start with (even wondered if I would return it), but it finally grew on me, the dark deep blue shades being quite elegant. Just be aware that the picture on ebay shows it in a way lighter blue that it actually is. Then the good: - quality: the watch feels really well built. - style: it looks dashing. - power source and accuracy: ecodrive, no shifting of battery ever, and automatically synchronized on atomic clock every night. - legibility of the LCD screen: easier to read that I expected, since LCD screens are so tiny. But the digits are clear, and one thing really smart, the reading angle is such that you have a clear picture looking from six o clock, which is where you're looking from when the watch is on your wrist. So bigger digits would be welcome, but I expected worse. - world time functionality. - rotating E6B bezel is readable, and usable. Then the bad: - to be mild and polite, the guy who did the functional design of this watch should just change profession. The need to pull the crown and rotate it to switch from one mode to another is a NONSENSE. In practice, consider that you need to remove the watch from your wrist to switch mode from date to stop watch, or timer or to world time... I tell you what: I'm happy I'm done with the time I was flying hard core IFR and had to time the outbound legs of my holding patterns - FMS be thanked. This design is such a hassle I don't even bother to switch to timer mode while cooking some eggs as I did without even thinking and in two clicks on my previous Casio... So this "pilot watch" is fine if you fly an airliner and basically don't need a functional watch, but stay away if this is your primary stopwatch and you need to switch mode on the go. Conclusion: I still love it, since I don't need a functional watch as badly as I did earlier, and because it is just dashing. And we forgive things we find beautiful what we would have hated the rest of the world for. And also because it goes on its own, keeps accurate time and allows for different time zones which I have use for. So I guess I would still recommend it, since it's quite a beauty, but it depends on what one is looking for, and be aware of its limitations.

I absolutely LOVE this watch!
I have 7 Citizen Ecco-Drive watches and this is definitely my favorite! Very sharp and expensive looking and and it has a good weight to it. I've got a few Titanium Citizen watches, but actually prefer the finish of this Stainless Steel version. I also have the Citizen Sailhawk...both are similar in that they have analog and digital displays and both are great watches!

Great Watch with good features
Great watch with a ton of features although a bit daunting to configure at first. Does help to review the various you tube tutorials for assistance. Keeps very accurate time and is especially handy when travelling as the ability to easily change between time zones is a big plus. The added feature of not requiring a battery replacement is another positive feature of this outstanding watch.

Breath taking
This is probably one of the prettiest watches I have ever seen. Pictures do not do it justice! I had been contemplating on buying it for a year and decided to go ahead and grab it. It's very comfortable and stylish. Some watches nowadays rub into the back of my hand. The knob and buttons are rounded off which offer a very comfortable and fluid fit.

Very Nice!
Good item at a good price. Purchased this watch used. The ad said that the watch had issues, that it would stop running. That was a couple of months ago. I charged the battery for about 36 hours and it has been running perfectly. Bought a new band for it and it looks brand new.
