      whistler 1025 does not work in all areas

      whistler1025 did not pick up my frequency for police and fire in my area . Whistler customer support told me in my area I need a whistler1065 to pick up that frequency so I returned the whistler back to e-bay and re-ordered the 1065 .It cost me an extra $140.00 for this model plus I had to pay another $56.00 to return it.

      Not perfect but great performance for the price. I'm happy with it.

      It came with many preprogrammed channels whih already included my local emergency frequencies. It works very well and sounds clear. Sometimes it stops scanning for no apparent reason even though there is no signal, and you have to press the scan button again. It's a nuisance but I can live with it for the price and the performance.
