Powerful little handheld radio
I bought this for use with listening to trains to aid in photography. I had an older UV-5R that had days it worked well and days it was spotty. After seeing the TP and the extra power I decided to give it a try and I'm very glad I did. I've been able to turn it on in my apartment and hear fairly clearly for 5+ miles away with far from clear line of sight. A step up in quality from the UV-5R EX model I own. Feels solid and better in the hand and the button action and layout is better. Compatible with the UV-5R accessories.
