So far everything is great. The foot pedal is good quality. comes with what is shown in the pictures. minor note: for me the added consumables aren't very helpful to get started. They give you a 1.6mm tungstan, with 1.6mm and 2.4mm collets, but only one collet body that's 3.2mm. I'm very happy with my purchase overall.

    A good learning machine

    Easy to use I'm new to tig welding and didn't take long to get used to working the settings out not sure if we can change the ac frequency i think we are stuck at factory settings of 80 this feature would have been a bonus but does do well on aluminium with just using the ac balance came with everything ready to plug n play

    Time tested

    I'm a field based diesel fitter and my job often requires plenty of welding of all types of materials, whilst running my equipment off a generator. I am extremely impressed with this Boswell ACDC Tig. I bought one over 3 years ago, I've welded galvinised steel with the stick, stainless steel, steam pipe, thin plate and thin aluminium with the tig, it's never let me down, it has all the settings needed to maintain good control, and its of good quality with a tough metal case. I took a gamble on this welder having never seen nor heard of the brand, and I'm glad i did.

    A sweet welder.

    Weldsall of the stainless and aluminium that I used in the reconstruction of a 3.7mt. aluminium boatwith casting decks and full floor, plus other features. very happy with the machine. But why supply the welder without a gas hose? Was it because standard hose as used generally, is too small for the fittings they supplied?

    Highly recommend!

    This is my second unit first one i brought 5yrs ago and still going strong has had a heap of aluminium upto 5mm . been used every day as i run my own business and has defently been pushed to its limits. Awesome welders highly recommend this unit!

    Great machine, poor manual

    A well built product which works extremely smoothly. I am well satisfied with this welder and very happy with the purchase. It is rather let down by the inconsistent operators manual - in particular the Operating Instructions which use different and inconsistent terminology for the switches and controls compared to the diagram showing these items on the machine.
