I am just getting into recording music and needed an interface. I have been using the Avid Eleven Rack to record guitar and vocals and everything just sounds so good! The set up has been mostly intuitive. I had to refer to the internet to figure out how to set up the drivers and input devices correctly. The stand alone editor also took some work to get up and running and has crashed on me several times, however it has been easy to reboot. The guitar tones are awesome. I have really enjoyed scrolling through the presets and messing around. I have used it with an electric and acoustic guitar and have achieved so many great, diverse sounds. This product encourages me to be creative. I would recommend the eleven rack to anyone, especially for this price.

Tweakable made easy! Play it through headphones, powered reference speakers, or a PA; makes no difference, it sounds great either way. Every tone you want in a 2u rack! Better than paying for an axe FX or a Headrush...Included manual makes it easy to figure out. Recommend this for anyone who likes to play the gammet and doesn’t want a different amp and cabinet for every genre of music.

Very easy to use and navigate. I’m a technological dinosaur, so the optional Protools is of no use to me. The mains out are great for live performance and I also plug them into my Tascam for recordings. The send/return works great when adding my own stomp boxes and effects. Being able to plug in an acoustic or bass, the later with dedicated amps, is a huge benefit. For “older” tech this lives up extremely well to what’s available in the industry. Highly recommended.

I run this through a mesa stereo valve power amp into a stereo quad box for live performances. There is plenty of features available to get any sound you need for any gig. the key is to use your ears. Some negative comments I have read I can confidently say are from those who don't know what they are doing so it is only as good as the user in my view. I have used every type of amp, effect you can imagine (mesa, marshall, Koch, fender, line 6 etc) and this has all the power and features I need. Very impressive piece of kit and the amp models respond incredibly well once the proper setup is in place.

I purchased the Eleven Rack because it was a good deal and I wanted something to make home recording a little easier. I had the Pod HD Pro X and sold it because it just didn't sound good after weeks of tweaking. The 11R isn't perfect, but it's much more organic sounding and the playing response is better due to the True Z guitar input. Overall I'm very happy with it and recommend it over Line 6, unless you can afford a Helix.
