I really like that this watch is atomic. The atomic clock receiver works very well in general so you never have to set it and it is always exactly correct. This is the primary feature of this watch, in my opinion. Otherwise, I think it looks nice, it has useful features, and it is user friendly with a low learning curve. I think it is a very good value for a digital watch in the $40-$50 range. I would have given it 5 stars, except that I had to replace my first one because it went haywire after a VERY brief submersion in water when I pulled my son out of a swimming pool - it was completely submerged for less than half a second. It immediately went blank, but it made a partial recovery shortly after. It continued working, but ever since the baptism the atomic signal receiver has became inconsistent, often attempting to receive signal, failing, and spontaneously resetting the time to 12:00am, 1-1-2005. There is a feature to turn off the automatic signal reception and set the time manually, and I have done that repeatedly, but the watch keeps resetting itself and would thereby reset the signal reception back to auto and then try and fail to receive it, resetting the time to its factory base of 12am 1-1-05. I would have to set the time manually once or twice a day and so it became pretty frustrating. I even replaced the batteries a couple of months after the submersion. I hoped that it would dry out over time and make a complete recovery, so I kept hanging on to hope for about six months before I gave up and finally decided to replace it with the exact same watch. That I chose the same one speaks for itself. So yes, I really like this watch and I recommend it, but keep it out of water. Splashes and rain was never a problem, but the full submersion was the beginning of the end.Read full review

Atomic watch is 30 seconds slow (bought it to use for accuracy). No instructions to adjust watch band Very poor purchase....

Hey, it's a watch. It keeps accurate time even when the nightly sync isn't available. I was a bit worried about the band as I have large wrists and most factory original bands are either too small or have to be max'd out to fit. This is the first time I've ever gotten a watch with a factory original band that's too big for me, even after I've taken out all the slack possible. I guess I'm going to have to go to a jeweler and get a link or two removed. Anyway, I like the watch.

I enjoyed setting this watch up for use and love its ability to re-adjust and correct its time nightly using the broadcast signal of the Atomic Clock. My watch matches the time on the TV CABLE BOX which I always assumed was kept right on correct time also. I also like the way you can easily shift to a different time zone like when you are on international world trips and have to see the time quickly in other airports and countries. I know I will enjoy this watch. I was just a little disappointed on the size of the time numerals but guess partially due to the 3 lines of information on the face. For years I had used a similar looking TIMEX but they dropped their metal band and I didn't want a rubbber/plastic band which is Timex only choice now. So guess Casio will have my business now.
