I had a IC-440, & wanted to upgrade, this unit is even better, & easier to use than the first model.. they've fixed several awkward functions and made the backlight better, handpiece is a little smaller also.. Very good, recommend this model.. IC-450.

Easy to fit behind the back seat. Easy to run the cabling under the carpet. (Much easier than cutting or drilling the car dash board) The manual is easy to ready. Radio menu is easy to understand. Remember, you don’t need to use all the features...

Compact, rugged, well built.
This is my 5th UHF CB. It's by far the best I've owned, it's clear and selective and has a plethora of options to choose from. I'm a bit Old School and do prefer rotary knobs for vol and sql but one must move with the times... I highly recommend this radio!
