To obtain a fuel pump to petrol tank seal:
“I used the original gasket, changed the six set screws with Phillips Heads to Allen Key and/or 27 Torq set screws to obtain better closing pressure and a petrol seal was obtained.”
The use of the original gasket is contrary to Fords Manuals specification which states that a new gasket should always be used.
This could be fixed by the seller by increasing the NEW GASKET thickness.
