    Pump fitting off 90 degrees

    The only issue I had was the power steering pump fitting should be clocked anther 90 degrees so it will fit without twisting the hose to fit. The two fittings should be in line, the pump fitting is on top of the rack and the hose will be in direct line to the pump if the fittings are in line of one another. IN my particular situation the pump is on front of the rack.

    Got The Job Done!!

    Did the job on installing the LS engine PS pump into the mustang 2 PS rack with no leaks..Suggest to install the pressure hose to the pump before bolting the pump and bracket unto the engine block it makes the installation much easier,and remember that the LS pump MUST be reduce in pressure to work with the mustang 2 or Thunderbird steering rack or you will be needing to replace the steering rack seals all of them !!!

    Quality Lines know your 6AN adaptors

    Note This would be ideal if it had both Metric and standard adaptors to fit either model of Mustang 2 rack. Only comes with Metric. I found a set of Standard Thread adaptors 6AN for $10. Know your thread size.

    Power steering hose kit

    The fittings were a perfect fit but the pressure hose to the pump has a twist and is hard to hook up because the hose is in a bind

    Fits like a saddle on a sow. Designer must only be considering small block chevy.

    The pressure hose does not fit. The ends are not clocked in the correct positions. And hose should be about 1 1/2" longer. I'm running a gm pump on a small block Chrysler.
