All the ingredients you are missing
I discovered mamajuana when I visited the Dominican Republic last year. I knew I could make my own if only I could find the botanicals. These have been good, if inconsistent. The ratio of spices is always different every batch, but the results are always drinkable. My recipe: one case (6x1.75 liter) clear rum (Bacardi Superior), one bottle red wine (Love My Goat), honey. In each 1.75 l bottle add 115 ml wine, quarter cup of honey and fill with rum. This will yield 11.5 liters of mix. Clean botanicals by placing in a pan of water, bring to a boil and immediately drain and spread on cooking sheet to dry. Place cleaned botanicals into a 750 ml bottle. Fill bottle with mix and let set for two days. After two days, pour into a holding jug and refill with more mix. Change out mix every ... Really flavorful, unique and fun to steep
I discovered this in Punta Cana—where I drank it for 10 days. Delicious, complex flavors. You don’t get falling down drunk, just pleasantly flushed. I made it recently with Trader Joe’s Whaler dark rum and $3 buck Chuck merlot. Fantastic. I then used some of that batch as a modified jerk chicken marinade. My dinner guests were blown away! I highly recommend!

WOW ! These herbs/ wood chips are strong . .PLEASE first batch with the cheapest rum you can .. the flavour was so intense even cut with much cola and ice it's rough . .onto second batch . .smoother . .next one I know will be great :)
