    Actually, these arrived early on 5/1/2021! These will replace the cold-cathode lamps in an old Dell VGA flat panel with a HannStar model HSD150SX84 flat panel. They look nice and skinny to fit inside. They have about 3 LEDs more than the display needs but will still fit in the Dell enclosure.

    Update to LED backlight on our monitor

    Updated my Laptop from CCFL to LED Backlight. The only part that I had to provide for is that the brightness control had to be inverted. I used a general purpose NPN transistor and a 1k & 100k resistors. It's brighter and better looking than the CCFL's. Updated a desktop monitor too with great results. It would be good to know some electronics as well as being mechanically inclined. These suckers are bright! Whats real nice is the wide range for the Input voltage.
