I've always wanted to try playing with 2 amps. I play in a 9 piece band, so there are several instruments going through the PA system, some miked, some direct. It seems that every gig we have to track down where the hum is coming from. With my new Radial Bigshot ABY box, I know it's not coming from me. I can use my 2 amps with zero hum. The small footprint saves me valuable space on my pedalboard. I can run it passive so it doesn't use a spot in my power distributer. It's a high quality ABY box at a great price.

Only 4 stars because there is a more expensive ABY sold by Radial Engineering . This pedal will run both a Laney VC-30 and Ignater Rebel 20 without tone changes , I plugged it into the R20 FX loop next too last in the effect loop the BBE sonic maximizer is last in the loop. No power is needed and very surprised I did not hear any drop in guitar gain as the Rebel 20 input from the guitar was just as loud as before. No hum so I did not use the ground lift or any switches. I ran a BadCat Cougar and Rebel 30 with same great tones and amazed at the sound with the Rebel 30 preamp signal feeding both amps with similar great tone again I had the Big Shot near the end of FX loop.

This is perfect for high gain amps. I run an 8 string Schecter into an MXR Overdrive, then to my Decimator. After the Decimator I ran into this pedal to split the signal to a peavey 5150 on a Mesa Cab and a JSX on a Marshal cab. No added noise, no loss of gain. This thing kicks ass and it's perfect for biamping or running in stereo. Another cool feature about this pedal that I love, is that you will never accidentally turn off both of your amps. It will always have one amp on. The Morley design (waste of cash) will allow you to turn off both amps... When you are playing live and you want to switch off one amp, it works great
Works perfectly, smooth buttons, smooth switching and great features. Very well built and what a great deal at no loss of quality. I wasn't sure if I needed a buffered on or not, but I have buffered pedals that take care of that so I love the true bypass.

I bought this because I had been trying to get overdrive on my bass without losing bottom end. I have more than one amp, and more than one cab, so in theory, I wanted to split the signal and run one amp clean with solid bottom end, and make one amp gritty, (and to use my pedalboard on the gritty amp). This pedal allowed me to do just that. I can go full clean tone, full dirty tone, or combine them. it really opens a world of possibilities, and the quality of the pedal and the signal are exactly what I had hoped for. I recommend it.
