    Great item.

    Easy for my granddaughter to use. she is 10. A little hard to focus for her but it works really well. Once in focus things become very clear and close up. The box for storage is beautiful.

    Amazing

    When my 9 year old son opened this gift, I thought he was going to burst. It is by far his favorite gift. He carries it around with him wherever he goes. The brass telescope is heavy and focuses by adjusting the length of the extension slightly. The handle is wrapped in leather, which is hand-sewn together at the seam. The box that it came in is excellent quality as well--nicely finished with smooth seams. I find this gift to be a steal for the quality. If you are looking for a gift with an authentic, antique, pirate feel with high quality of craftsmanship, this is the gift to get.

    Pretty Good, but has a few problems.

    Pros: Durable. Good zoom length. Nice sturdy storage case. Cons: Has rainbow effect. The telescoping part is a little stiff. There was a little dirt on the inside of the lens.

    quality spyglass

    Worth every penny. This spyglass is solidly constucted and works fine as a telescope should. The item is beautiful as a disply piece in or out of the ornate box. Made me feel like a real pirate. AAARRGGHH!!!

    iceberg dead ahead

    if these were available on the titanic, they wouldn't have had the ice water problem in the staterooms. go for it! . . .excellent quality for very little money. . . re-enact Custers last stand . . if he had these he would have quietly gone around and headed to Deadwood instead . . .
