      So easy to fit

      This was a perfect replacement for the existing, damaged catch. I suppose the only awkward part was figuring out how one particular piece of the broken catch comes off.There were no obvious screws or fixings so I figured it must just clip on. Which it did. If you buy the kit first you can see how it goes on. But I took my old one apart first and I think that if I hadn't done that I may not have been confident on which replacement kit was the right one. There are a couple of different types so it may be that you need to strip the old one out like I did to be sure of making the right choice.

      The only choice and it works, but come on Dometic - you could do better

      Pros. It fits the fridge and opens and closes the fridge door (with patience and a light touch) Cons. It is flimsy and I have no doubt that we will be ordering another one half way through the next campervanning season.

      Very expensive for what it is as you only need the steel catch it's the only part that brakes gets damaged or wears but they make you buy the parts which you don't need

      Dometic Fridge Door Latch

      The latch on my casmpervan fridge sometimes failed with the door opening when you least wanted it to. The new latch was a straight swap and has solved the problem. Job done.
