I've tried many valves in my Little Dot mk3 including Voskhod, GE Jan, Osram, but the Mullard M8100 is the best i've heard. The M8100 is the Uk military spec version of the civilian EF95, it has a smooth warm and detailed mirange, powerfull yet tight bass and highs that never get too shrill, ive found this valve to be an excellent allrounder, particularly good with rock/metal and also because of the spacious sonding sondstage classical too. If you're thinking of trying a different valve give this one a try, you won't regret it!.

These really make buying a little dot worth while. They completely blow the stock tubes away. Female vocals sound incredible, bass is tighter, and it brings the mids forward a little bit. The treble is not fatiguing at all, very smooth. So glad I bought these after being disappointed with the stock Little Dot tubes!

Very balanced tube with great treble reproduction. Not at all harsh but still very clear and balanced. Bass is solid as a rock.

I use the tubes on a buffer pre-amp and replaced the ones it came with. There is noticeable improvement especially in the lows as well as better highs (which were too bright to my ears).

Got these for use with Little Dot MK III. No problems with Mallard ring getters but only about 10 hours on them so far.
