      An excellent representation, easy to assemble

      This builds into a really good model of the sort of railings used on railway installations in the days of steam. It has enabled me to finish off a coaling stage for the locomotive shed on my layout and will look the part even more once painted. Unlike many other similar products, which are fiddly to put together, this one is easy, and just requires making small holes in the baseboard to fit the stanchions - this can be done with a carpenter's awl or a modeller's drill. My only real niggle is that they only supply 3" lengths of handrail wire. There are several of these in the pack, sufficient for all the stanchions, but if you want a long length of handrail, you have to join them all together. While this can be done, it would have been much more helpful to be given a coil of wire which ...
