The Nokia Lumia 1520 is one of a kind. It's got a beautiful large screen, nice camera, and top of the line processor from years back so it still runs Windows 10 Mobile perfectly. In fact, some won't see a reason to upgrade to the newer Lumias and other W10M options if you want to stay within the Windows ecosystem. Anyhow, the phone is around 3 years old now and if the battery hasn't already given up, it soon will. If you can manage to find a real new OEM battery to swap in, it'll breathe new life into your classic phone. You would probably find that you've forgotten how long the 1520 can last for (loooong). Finding a true OEM version would require some work and judgement. The knockoffs don't actually have 3500 mAh cells (which isn't a big deal) and can only charge up to 80% or so and will not charge any further (that's a problem for me). Usually, the overseas listings are knockoffs and the north American ones are fine, but neither remain true all the time. Use your discretion and common sense as usual while shopping here and you should be fine. Lastly, make sure to get the right battery model, BV-4BW, as the one in the Lumia 1320 is very close in shape but with a different connector (not "L" shaped). Save your 1520! Bid it out, ebay friends!Read full review

Does NOT actually fit the Lumia 1520. The ribbon that plugs into the board is too short. It's only about 1/2" shorter than the stock one, but it's just enough to make it not work. I tried to squeeze it in and ended up ripping the ribbon, rendering it useless and unreturnable. But measured exactly next to the stock one, and they aren't the same. Maybe it was supposed to fit some other phone? Don't waste your money.

There has been reported problems that some replacement batteries for WP like my 1520 only charge to 82% but this source was mentioned for batteries that would fully charge. I had a tech place take out old and replace for $25 and seems to work fine, and fully charges to 100%. I am giving up on WP, although love the UI etc of WP. But problem of lacking some programs etc is forcing many of us happy WP users to swtich to Anroid - waiting for the LG V30 unlocked to be available in the U.S. about end of November. Until then needed replacement battery as old under load like watching or recording video would go from nearly full charge to 3% instantly and shut down. I assume it was the battery but haven't tested with new under big load.

The battery I received look like it barely survived a house fire, and was weaker than the battery I was trying to replace. However it would have been a great bargain if the battery would have been good.

I wanted to acquire factory spares for my wife's phablet/cell. When needed, one would be easily installed at the repair shop. [Her previous phablet died with no spares available.] Pleased buyer.
