The shipping packaging also has the bottle label printed on it, keeping that as well! I think the label paper is likely intended to replicate the actual bottle, being matte and off-white/light beige. It looks nice, but I would probably have *personally* preferred a white(r) gloss or semi-gloss label. Perhaps more options in this manner could be made available in the future.
