The best G-Shock square money can buy
This is the best G-Shock square money can buy IMO! What makes it so great? Let me count the ways: positive display that's very sharp and easy to read, indestructible carbon fiber strap that looks great, titanium case back that improves strength and corrosion resistance while reducing weight (also feels better against the skin), solar charging with 10 month reserve, atomic time sync, world time, all the timing and alarm functions you'd expect, extremely lightweight, super comfortable on wrist, looks great, and of course G-Shock tough! I love this watch - it's by far my favorite "G".This is the best G-Shock square money can buy IMO! What makes it so great? Stylish and Functional
One of (if not) the lightest G-SHOCKs @ 45g which makes it extremely comfortable. Despite that, it is still one of the toughest models as the carbon fiber inserts make the band even much more difficult to deteriorate over long periods of time, on top of giving it a unique, cool and stylish carbon fiber look. Solar rechargeable battery so no need to worry about battery life even if you stay home as it charges on exposure of house lights/bulbs. Positive display which is easier on the eye and more legible than negative displays, especially when looking at from an angle. Water resistance, stop watch, timer, alarms with a snooze alarm, hourly chime which can be turned on and off. Perfect daily driver for people who are not needing to monitor their step count and/or heart rate and are looking ... One of (if not) the lightest G-SHOCKs @ 45g which makes it extremely comfortable. Cool looking squares
Jelly bezel matches great with carbon fiber band. Band is little bit stiffer but looks great. If module can display time in stopwatch/CTD mode I would give it five stars. But if you are ok with that, go for it.

It's so lite, I forget I'm wearing it. Nice and Glossy , the tough Solar , and the Atomic Clock feature are Excellent. The tough materials, this watch should last a lifetime of use.

An upgrade to the GW-M5610
This G-Shock is a JDM model and can trace its DNA back to the original square G-Shock model released in 1983 - over 100 million watches ago! This model uses the same solar time module as the GW-M5610 and performs identically from that perspective. The difference is in being slight shorter and lighter due to the titanium case back. It also has an excellent strap where carbon fiber is bonded to a soft resin liner that sits against the skin. It's light and super strong and will last as long as the rest of the watch. At just 47 gms (1.6oz) it is the lightest G Shock ever and it just disappears on the wrist. Not something that can be said for most G Shock models! While I wouldn't call it stylish, its has a tidy, utilitarian look and a 1980s vintage digital vibe.
