Added much needed air flow
I had purchased a Oklahoma Joe pit/smoker which was great for smoking but lacked a damper on the cooking chamber. Every time I grilled something it was I found it impossible to keep my heat up because the coals seemed to smoother out due to lack of air flow. Installing this damper on the cooking chamber correct my issue. It was easy to instal and definitely worth the small investment.

Great quality and arrived super fast
Was shipped and arrived WAY faster than expected. Great quality and appreciated it came with hardware. I used a different nut because the one provided was really tight. Installed mine on my Pit Barrel Cooker for more vent control and only have two holes drilled out so far, but planning on drilling out a couple more. Would definitely recommend.

Easy installation
Drill one 3/8" centerhole and mount. Then mark all holes, remove, and drill the 1/2' air holes. The only problem with this unit is that the nuts are mismatched and will not screw on. Plan on a visit to the hardware store to buy the proper 3/8" threaded nut.
