    Wow, a near commercial grade appliance.This is a very solid 13.7 kg device. Fairly straight forward controls ( and a rear main master switch ).My first usage has given me my best ever steak, with the flavour, great outer crust and juicy tender inside, same as a good flamed restaurant steak.You get that great cooking smell , fat drip ignition flashes and sounds and a bit of smoke just like the commercial outlets. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation and extractor fans to remove smoke.

    A great steak oven

    This is a pretty full on device, I would say of a semi commercial build quality. Its heavy duty, in packaging its 14kgs. It looks, works and feels like a solid quality device. I have mine in a modest sized kitchen amongst some other equipment. So, I use mine primarily for steak. It cooks the best steak that I have ever cooked in my life, and its easy to do. It does have a heat up period of a few minutes until it gets to those incredible temperatures, and then it rapidly cooks steak with all the looks and sounds and smells of one of those restaurants who specialise in it. Once its running its very fast indeed. Because of its high temps, smoke and smells can be generated so good ventilation or extractor fans are a must.
