End The Tailgate Slam in 1, 2, 3!
This was very easy to install with simple instructions that were included. With just a few simple tools, I Installed it in less than 10 minutes. Works perfectly. Looks good, discrete, and not at all in the way. Just follow the simple instructions, and I’m sure you’ll be happy with the product.

Works great! Installation was simple enough, with excellent instructions. The replacement screws were a little hard to put in because of the grip coating on the threads, but they will not back out. It requires a T50 Torx wrench and an M6 Hex wrench for the screws. Hardware is of high quality. I rated it not a good value because the cost is at least double the price of what a comparable item from ZeeDee would be, even though it is made by ZeeDee. It is labeled as a Ford part. I just didn't want to wait for it to come out as a ZeeDee item. It works as it should. When opening and dropping the tailgate, it falls quickly for about 1/3rd of way and suddenly catches and drops slowly the rest of the way. I was concerned about the tailgate not dropping very fast because of it being made of ... Works great! Installation was simple enough, with excellent instructions. 2019 - 2020 Ford Ranger Tailgate Dampener.
I bought this since the new Ford Rangers do not come with tailgate dampeners. It's the first mod I've done on the truck. It is a Ford accessory but is made by DeeZee. It's very easy to install and works perfectly. The tailgate softly lowers it self. You just need a M3 Allen wrench and a T50 Torx bit on a ratchet. It took maybe 10 minutes to install because I took my time.

Fits, works, good quality.
I've been waiting over a year and a half for a damper that fits the North American Ranger. Everybody claims to have one but it doesn’t fit the North American Ranger and the World version sold throughout the world is different. This works like it was made for my truck. Easy install, great quality, works like a champ, what more do you want. Thanks!
