Arrived in time period stated and is as depicted in the photo. Hence positve. But a bokken scabbard is only necessary for Iaido practice and a tight fit in a kaku obi would crush this flimsy thin plastic to the extent of making the draw and return difficult. Should be thicker and stiffer. Wooden oak Bokken do not need a scabbard irdinarily
