    Great starter set

    This is my first time purchasing home hair cut supplies. Great points: -This comes with everything you need to get started, to maintain and to keep everything together in one bag. -The shears are very sharp and pretty good quality. Lower points - The cape is lower quality and I chose to not use it. - The clipper has good power, but I wish the cord was longer. - when I did my sons fade, I felt like I needed a 1.5 also to blend better, the differential between 1 and 2 is greater than I would have liked and as this clipper has no arm to fine tune, I just had to do my best :)

    Cut Poorly

    Received this 2 days ago. Blades aren't sharp enough to cut hair easily. It pulls the hair if done too quickly. Not smooth cutting. I have previousley used a cheap Whal hair clipper that I bought at Walmart. It worked very smoothly, cutting the hair without pulling it. With the Conair, I had to cut the hair in short, repeated cuts taking 3 times as long to cut the hair as normal. Very dissapointed with this product. I can't wait to throw this away and buy another Whal hair clipper.

    good value

    The trimmer should be lubricated and adjusted for power before you use it. It comes with a tube of oil and instructions for power adjustment (easy). It is about as noisy as all of them, cuts well and cleanly without snagging. The guide combs are limited to 1/2" max so do not expect a "flowbee" here. But it will produce decent mens cuts and trimming at a low price. I have only used it twice so time will tell re durability, but it is tried and true electrical/mechanical beast so it should last a long time. Other accessories, scissors, comb etc. are of little value. I like the easy snap on/of blade guard.

    Lightweight great item

    Received item within 2 days it is very easy and lightweight. My son enjoyed having his hair cut. It does not snag his curly hair it glides through it. Highly reccommend this item.
