Its all about the software
I tried to love this device. I needed an RS 232 out for a JPI to give me fuel at destination and of course an IPAD will not do this. After trying Garmins software for a while, I found it lacking in every way when compared to ForeFlight. It seems very tedious and not user friendly in my opinion. The machine itself is great and I believe would be very durable, more so than the IPAD. But at 1500 bucks, just to have the fuel at destination, I will do a little math and stay with my IPAD mini.I tried to love this device.
