Clips on the side broke with finger pressure.
2 of the Clips that hold it In place broke before even trying to install. You have to squeeze them to insert into cowl. I had already removed my old one and didn’t want to pay shipping back, so I just put this one in place and put a couple zip ties behind so it doesn’t move. Go with OEM on this
Switch hung in down mode the second day It was in use. I had to turn off battery to stop it from tripping thermal breaker. Would have sent it back, but had to alter it to fit cowling, it did not fit factory cowling on 2001 Merc 150. Bit the bullet and purchased OEM mercury switch for 3 times the price, but it works perfectly. Save some time and trouble, go with factory OEM on this one guys. I have replaced this switch 4 times in last 15 years, aftermarket switch's have not lasted for more than a year whenever I bought them-MikeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

With some modifications, it works.
