The leather has repeated pattern matches all over it. It smells and feels like PU leather. Not shocked. It looks good. All in all I like it.

With care, I expect it will last a long time. The buckles in the back are only show, they cover magnetic fasteners. But the flap covers a pocket that zips anyway, so no big deal. Happy with the purchase!
