The pinch roller was installed in a modernized sony vo5800ps machine. The tape feed became very smooth, which is most noticeable in the sound. The machine has a softer, more musical sound. I experienced the same thing with the sony vo9800, in which I also installed this roller. Both videos have moved up a category! It is an extremely high-quality pinch roller!! I recommend it to all video and enthusiasts!

Tape transport is much more even with this roller, and no more tape crunching in reverse search. Worth the money for recovering irreplaceable U-matic recordings.
