Product Information

Like other titles in Midway's pseudo-series, such as Hydro Thunder and 4 Wheel Thunder, this snowmobile racing release combines distinctive environments and a responsive physics model with lots of arcade-style jumps and power-ups. Players race their snow machines across the Swiss Alps, up the Alaskan Pipeline and even through a nuclear energy plant in Chernobyl in a continuing effort to be first across the finish line. Also like others in the series, Arctic Thunder is full of extra sleds, tracks, and other secrets to be unlocked through skillful play.

    ARCTIC THUNDER IS A VERY FUN GAME

    Arctic thunder is a sequal to midway's hit hydro thunder game.it comibines many elememts from hydro thunder and games like twisted metal.The object of the game is to of course win the race and get points to upgrade your characters and unlcok new tracks.but you can also gain points by wiping out your oppenent.here is a breakdown of arctic thunder. GRAPHICS 3/5 the graphics are kinda dated considiring the game has been out for a good 5 years but they are not terrible however. SOUND 4/5 the music is great but the one setback is some of the voices suck but other than that this game has one of the best soundtracks ever by midway. GAMEPLAY 5/5 awsome this is one of the best arcade racing games ever. REPLAY VALUE 5/5 this game will keep you hooked for years to come.

    arctic thunder

    I think this is a great game. I have really enjoyed playing this game. Going through the levels and different tracks are awesome. I had great service on getting this game. When I had problems I would email and would get an email right back. The service was great and I will definately order from this person again.

    PS2 Arctic Thunder

    I bought this for my son. He loves the snowmobile races and the shortcuts. He doesn't like the missles that blow you up.
