This is critical for accurate bending but on the machine I received, neither of these faces are machined accurately. They are simply painted and therefore accurate folding of thin material is much more difficult if not impossible. I sold the machine I had, to replace it with a better one but is in fact no better if not worse. I am very disappointed. I would advise against buying
