Because the humidity sensor is built into the dehumidifier, it is not reflective of the room's humidity, thus the humidity reading can be out by as much a s 15%... resulting in shutting off too early, and starting to late. I am now controlling the dehumidifier with a SmartPlug controlled by the room's humidity sensor. This works like a charm.
