If you are a Gerry Anderson fan, you will probably want to get this collection. It is funny and entertaining whether intentional or not. I like Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Fireball XL5, Joe 90, Stingray, and Thunderbirds more than I liked this one but still fun and entertaining. If you are a collector of Gerry Anderson's work, you will want this one too.

I now have all the Gerry Anderson puppet series, with the exception of 'The Adventures of Twizzle', which I don't think is available on DVD. Something has to be my favorite, and my least favorite in any list. Unfortunatly for me, Terrahawks was the bottom of the list. If I had my time and money again I'd pass on 'Terrahawks'. All others by Gerry Anderson I highly recommend 'Fireball XL5' 'Stingray' 'Thunderbirds' 'Captain Scarlet' 'Joe 90' and 'Secret Service'. Only 'Supercar' from the early 1960s is somewhat of a disapointment. Why didn't I like Terrahawks and Supercar? Well, Terrahawks charatures just didn't gell with me. There was nobody I liked. No hero. Nobody to root for. Also the puppets, what few there were, were all ugly. No semi erotic charactures like 'Aquamarina', 'Atlanta', 'Lady Penelope', 'Tin Tin', and the 'Anglel pilots'. No dashingly handsom men like Troy Tempest, Steve Zodiac, and Scott Tracy. Just dorkes, nerds, and goofballs with large noses and monster unibrows. I didn't like the villans either. Zelda was repulsive and hard to look at, not at all like the other villans who were funny and likeable in their own way, like 'Surface Agent X20' , and 'The Hood'. I don't belive Gerry Anderson was very involved with this project. For I feel he wouldn't have let it turn out the way it did. Maybe he just lent his name to the project. It certainly has strong elements of the 'UFO' and 'Space 1999' series in it. Two projects I really didn't care for either. Supercar is just too basic for it to be entertaining. I know it was only his second project, and he became sooo much better in time. But I think that the very early works are best avoided. Of corse this is only my opinion. You may think otherwise.Read full review

Gerry Anderson's marionation fascinates me and creeps me out at the same time. Terrahawks among the creepiest. Really cool though

I have been a fan of Gerry Anderson since I was small, so when I saw a chance to buy "Terrahawks" I jumped on it; the low price helped to make that decision easier. I already had many of Mr. Anderson's other series, made it to Lieutenant Colonel in the UFO-series fan club, and had never heard of this particular series. I found it to be imaginative, innovative, and the marionettes look realistic. 7Alienfriend7
