My favorite pen
I have tested just about every caligraphy pen on the market and this one is by far my favorite. It writes smoothly, doesn't drag on the paper like the others do and I have not had any trouble with the ink leaking. There is nothing more discouraging than to be working on a project and all of a sudden there is a blob of ink that has erupted from the pen leaving a mess of your hands and your project. I have spent many hours using sheaffer pens and have never had one leak.I have tested just about every caligraphy pen on the market and this one is by far my favorite. Love the way my handwriting looks when I use this pen!
I actually use this pen as my everyday pen, because it does not leak, stain your hands, skip or do anything except make your bad handwriting look very, very nice. The fine tip is the right one if you do use it as a fountain pen, the medium one is too bold, but nice for calligraphy (greeting cards, etc) I like old fashioned things and I remember this pen from many years ago, so I bought it again. .It's a lot of fun to sign your name.I actually use this pen as my everyday pen, because it does not leak, stain your hands, skip or do anything except make your bad handwriting look very, very nice. Keep in mind... you get what you pay for. This might be great to buy for your kid because it doesn’t have a sharp nib. It simply isn’t for me. It’s good for the price, but it’s an item that I’ll be passing along to someone else. It’s not comfortable to hold because of the cut outs on the body of the pen. Might be ideal for someone that just wants to dabble in fountain pens or write a few cards with something a little more unique than your standard ballpoint. Keep in mind... you get what you pay for.
