The quality of the tap is what one would expects for the price, although one wonders why bother with HSS if the threads are not ground, as in this case they are not, they are cut threads & the nose relief has been ground off-hand. Nevertheless I am happy because the modification I need to make to the tap will remove the bad relief & I can grind my own. So the quality is a little disappointing but irrelevant in this case. Thank you.
