While these are wool socks, thick is not an accurate description of them at all. These are no thicker than regular tube socks. Thick socks are about 4 times thicker. These are pretty thin and a waste of money if you actually are looking for thick wool socks. I was all for these at first - USA made, good wool content, and supposedly thick. When they arrived I realized these were just cheap socks, not actual good quality or thick.
