Just like my original remote.
Very happy with product, it is the same as my original and works great, no programming required. They even sent me a free mobile phone case with the order but unfortunately Aust Post broke it in transit as it wasnt bubble wrapped. Lucky it wasnt the remote. I think only thing I would suggest is for them to at least do one layer of bubble wrap on items. Otherwise really happy.

Mixed thoughts
This remote (copy) is a bit cheaper than genuine but not the same quality. Buttons are very stiff to push and the top of the centre arrow control ring is at an odd angle making it difficult to use. It can ONLY be tuned to DVD1 setting on the PVR instead of the usual 6 DVD choices needed for a multiple machines and remotes setup. Will buy a genuine remote next time for the extra $20.

BUY Original Don't waste time with others....
When buying make sure it has a label in the battery section that says its the 0000479 remote. I bought a same priced one and it was a copy. The buttons for TV didnt work. When i got the original from it worked immediately as it was the same remote same lettering, size font, even the screws as explained same label inside the battery section. PLUS it has a faint stamp of 00479 on the bottome near the batter opening. the copies dont. IF you buy original all buttons even TV will work. Some sellers are saying not before a certain date whatever they are trying to sell copies that dont work with any TV (maybe panasonic dont know but i have a sony and worked immediate.When buying make sure it has a label in the battery section that says its the 0000479 remote. It works but wont programme with our sony bravia tv.
All the buttons work on it except I cant get it to program with our sony bravia tv so am now using three remotes instead of one main one again as need one to turn on the tv and change av channels. Otherwise I am very happy to now be able to go down a list as well as up instead of just up amongst other things no longer working on the original remote.

An excellent replacement for original part
Original Panansonic brand. Apart from a minor difference from original because it is a shared model, identical to the original. The difference is clearly explained in an accompanying info sheet ( I don't think I've ever used the particular functions, so the difference hasn't bothered me.) Popped in the batteries and used it immediately.
