As you guide the dark knight Cecil on a quest for redemption in the mysterious Valley of Mist, you'll confront monsters through an "active time" battle system designed to heighten the group-oriented action. Several gameplay changes have been included as well, such as party member Rydia's ability to create a summoned monster to fight in her stead. This quirky creature, named Whyt, can be customized throughout the adventure by participating in mini-games and even wireless competitions against a friend.
