Arrived quickly, well packaged and as described. The next bit is no reflection on the seller, who is 100%, or the product but I feel it's worth noting. The item in the picture, and price wise, would indicate that it is made of aluminium, it isn't it's plastic. It's going to be perfect for my plastic kits but, primarily, I brought this to assemble brass and white metal parts by soldering. Obviously this can't happen because of the risk of melting it. But don't be put off it is ideal for plastics.

Should be really easy in this day and age to make a machine that trundles round in front of (or even behind) a model locomotive and cleans the track for you. And it seemed Dapol got this right on paper - it vacuums, cleans and then polishes the track. Swapping the heads over is a bit of a faff though not difficult - but it just does not work. To be fair the vacuum bit is ok - surprisingly good in fact, but the rest is parp. The motor isn't powerful enough to keep going on curves or inclines or slightly dodgy joints, and the pick up of power from the track is rubbish too - it stops working frequently even when the train is on and running. I sent it back for replacement and got another just as bad so asked for a refund. Really disappointing. If you look on line, this seems pretty ... On straights and curves its good but across points and complex trackwork not so good gets caught things close to the track sometimes catch the cleaning pads

Disappointing purchase,only good for vacuuming.
Too much pressure is placed on the pad forcing the motor to stop and causing derailment on curves,totally useless.

Disappointed
I am disappointed with this item. It cannot cope with anything other than perfectly level track. The wheels keep dislodging from the bogeys. Considering the cost I would have expected something better.
