The Seagate Momentus is a hard drive designed to work with notebook computers. Its 0.37 x 2.75 x 3.95-inch dimensions make it lightweight and great to use in small-size computers. The lightweight design of the Seagate Momentus hard drive weighs at just 0.22 lbs which allows it to keep a computer portable while still offering a large amount of data storage. This internal 80 GB 2.5-inch hard drive is reliable and operates with high performance for a variety of operating systems. The Seagate Momentus is easily installed through a variety of interfaces including: ATA/ATAPI-6, DMA/ATA-100 (Ultra) and IDE. The Seagate Momentus hard drive uses perpendicular recording technology which increases its ability to remain intact as well as reduces any chance of data corruption. This internal 80 GB 2.5-inch hard drive uses an external data transfer rate of 100 Mbps, which allows information to be stored and accessed safely. The Seagate Momentus improves a computer's performance by increasing the density of the data stored on the hard drive to ensure its reliable 24/7.

    Seagate 80GB IDE Hard Drive

    Perfect for older laptops

    I picked this up to use as a secondary drive on my spare Dell Latitude D830 and couldn't be happier. I've always had great luck with Seagate and this plugged right into my modular bay housing as a secondary drive and was recognized without any issues. SMART results were perfect, drive is an authentic Seagate product and is surprisingly fast considering its older PATA connection. It works great as either a backup drive for the main OS (Windows 7 64-bit on my D830), or as a dual-boot hard drive.

    Optional HD for early Yamaha Tyros keyboards

    I needed a new disc for the Yamaha Tyros 3 keyboard - this one is the same as the original one...........I just installed it - but it works perfectly at the moment. I tried to use other disc before, I think it was WD PATA 160 GB, but it didn ยดt work.....! It seems this one is perfect for the early Tyros keyboards.....๐Ÿ‘
