In den HSM, der für einen schnelleren und geräuscharmen Autofokus sorgt, können Sie jederzeit manuell eingreifen. Mit diesem 10-fach Mega-Zoomobjektiv können Sie schnell agieren und erlangen enorme Flexibilität beispielsweise in den Bereichen des Outdoor-Sports oder der Tierfotografie. Das 50-500mm ermöglicht Ihnen nicht nur die reinen Fernaufnahmen, sondern liefert Ihnen auch eine Totale wenn es das Motiv verlangt und wird einen notwendigen Objektiv- und Standortwechsel einschränken. Sie können es sogar mit unseren EX DG Tele-Konvertern kombinieren und es somit bis 1000mm ausbauen. Die SML Vergütung verhindert Geisterbilder und Reflexionen an der Sensoroberfläche und SLD Glaselemente sorgen für die wirksame Korrektur der häufigsten Abbildungsfehler und liefern scharfe und kontrastreiche Ergebnisse. Dank der Hinterlinsenfokussierung dreht sich die Frontlinse beim Scharfstellen nicht mit, daher steht dem Einsatz einer tulpenförmigen Gegenlichtblende sowie eines Zirkularpolfilters nichts entgegen.
