Reviews
Philadelphia Inquirer - It's smart, it's exhilarating, and Gilroy's depiction of a high-tech world where our every move is captured by surveillance cams and Big Brother-types deploying the latest spyware feels authentic, and troubling., Los Angeles Times - Complex, unexpected and dazzling, alternating relentless tension with resonant emotional moments, this is an exemplary espionage thriller that has a strong sense of what it wants to accomplish and how best to get there., Portland Oregonian - The result is a newly revived spy movie franchise -- and the best big-budget action film of the summer., Concrete Playground - Legacy intact! BOURNE LEGACY ensures we've not seen the end of the franchise just yet.

Additional Information
The fourth installment of the highly successful BOURNE series sees the return of the franchise's screenwriter, Tony Gilroy, this time stepping into the director's seat for an entry which sidelines main character Jason Bourne in order to focus on a fellow estranged assassin (Jeremy Renner). Aaron Cross (Renner) is faster, stronger and smarter than agents before him due to the enhanced capabilities that were given to him through Operation Outcome. However, Outcome gets compromised and the people in charge decide to kill all of their own agents to cover up the advances that they have made to the human comdition. Cross must fight the very people who trained him in order to survive and find out who was behind the betrayal. Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz co-star, with Joan Allen and Albert Finney reprising their roles from the previous films.
