Germans are precise about details! Also, l almost sliced into fake bear for it was unwrapped, unprotected and placed in a tight fitting box. Opening a box with a sharp box cutter, and one discovering a questionable Steiff bear at very top un wrapped and protected was wrong and asking for trouble…Sorry seller, but l would be unable to support your business in the future.Reply from: retroloverpdx- Feedback replied by seller retroloverpdx.- Feedback replied by seller retroloverpdx.Cathy allow me to educate you about Steiffs.The later plushes from the 80’s and on have blank button tags when they were overproduced. This is a newer bear. I know you were shocked at the wonderful condition the bear was in with all tags since it came from an avid collector but it like the hundreds of other Steiffs I have sold is authentic. My positive feedback from 1,500+ customers speaks for itself. Buyers feedback like this usually speaks for itself and should be taken with a grain of salt.
