For a lightweight zoom lens with excellent wide-angle capabilities, the Olympus Zuiko 35-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 lens is a good choice. This is a wide-angle lens that was designed with a two-touch tele-zoom feature. This Olympus camera lens is multi-coated with a lens construction of seven elements in seven groups. It is focused by manual control, which can be highly desirable for smooth in-focus shots. The Olympus Zuiko 35-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 lens has a picture angle that ranges from 63 degrees for 35 mm to 34 degrees for 70 mm. This wide-angle lens is also one of the first Zuiko made to be designed with a variable aperture with full metering. The Olympus camera lens is also designed with a macro focus feature that allows the lens to focus at a minimum distance of 18 inches. A strong element of the macro focus is that it can be used throughout the entire field of the lens zoom range, if desired. For lightweight convenience combined with excellent results, the Olympus Zuiko 35-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 lens is a great zoom lens for both the experienced photographer and the novice.
