    The remote works perfectly. I can sit back in my Kenworth and adjust my media player without leaning forward. After five hours on the road, the reaching affects one's concentration and comfort. The remote is literally a life saver.

    Sony RM-X231 remote works with DSX-M55BT

    I recently purchased a used Sony DSX-M55BT marine stereo, only the unit with the metal mounting sleeve and nothing else. Per the DSX-M55BT manual, an RM-X232 remote is normally included with this unit. Since my purchase did not include a remote, I purchased a used RM-X231 separately. I works great with my DSX-M55BT, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

    Remote on a Boat

    Adjusting between FM channels, Iphone, or bluetooth is difficult to do on a boat especially while it is moving. this little remote makes it easy.
